Model Family Trail Run

The Model 5K faMily Trail Run/Walk in Rome, Georgia marks its fifth edition on the Model High School campus. The 5K course blends wooded trail and paved road, starting and finishing at Woodard Tuggle Stadium. Runners head down Barron Rd to Model Middle School, traverse a half-mile wooded loop, continue along the trail behind campus for another mile, then complete a final paved loop past Model Elementary and Model High School to the stadium.

The route is well-marked with volunteers along the way. Participants receive a commemorative T-shirt; medals are awarded in age groups and overall. Proceeds benefit the Model-Johnson Foundation; timing by Wire2Wire Running.
