Mosquito Endurance Run

Atlantic Beach, United States • 22 Mar 2025

The Mosquito Endurance Run is a unique running event hosted by the Friends of Fort Macon, taking place at Fort Macon State Park. Participants can choose between a Solo Ultra, a 3-member relay, or a 5K run, with the endurance race allowing runners to complete as many laps as possible from evening to morning. The course features a mix of trail surfaces and requires runners to bring their own light sources. Proceeds from the event support park enhancements, including the preservation of a baby whale skeleton. Aid stations will be available, and participants are encouraged to bring personal supplies.
