The Mosquito Endurance Run is a unique running event hosted by the Friends of Fort Macon, taking place at Fort Macon State Park. The Solo Ultra and relay teams will run a 3-mile trail loop from 7 PM to 7 AM, while the 5K consists of one lap of the Elliot Coues Trail. The event aims to raise funds for park enhancements, including the preservation of a baby whale skeleton.
