Monument Valley Ultra
The Monument Valley Ultra takes place on February 28, 2026 at Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park in Monument Valley, UT. The event is limited to 500 runners and registration is available online until one hour before the race. Proceeds support community health and wellness programs on the Navajo Nation.

Courses run primarily on singletrack trail, dirt roads and the Valley Drive and include named segments such as the Sentinel Mesa Trail, Wildcat Trail, the Marlboro Route and stretches past North Window. The 50K route includes multiple visits to Three Sisters Aid Station, an out-and-back to Mitchell Mesa, and a Backcountry segment featuring Totem Pole, Rain God Mesa, Sand Springs and The Cube. The 50K has two cut-offs at Three Sisters Aid Station and a finish line cutoff at sundown. The Half Marathon follows a loop that connects Sentinel Mesa, Wildcat Trail and Valley Drive, finishing near the start.
Aid stations are stocked with fluids, gels and a range of food items, and include medical support and portajohns. The event is cup-less so runners should plan to use a handheld bottle or hydration pack. Drop bags can be left for Three Sisters Aid Station and will be returned to the finish area.
