The Boot Scootin' Boogie 5K is a multi-terrain running event held at Montgomery Whitewater on August 1, 2026. The course passes through a mix of paved paths, gravel trails, and natural surfaces within the Montgomery Whitewater site.

Registration includes a commemorative T shirt when participants register by Monday, July 20, a post-race beverage, and a complimentary mechanical bull ride. Early packet pick-up is available on Friday, July 31, at the Montgomery Whitewater main breezeway entry adjacent to the Outfitter Store; race day packet pick-up is also provided at that location.
Race results and awards are presented at the conclusion of the 5K. Awards are given to the overall top finishers for men and women and to first-place finishers in five-year age group divisions for men and women.
The event is scheduled as part of the Whitewater Rodeo activities and is set alongside rodeo-themed programming, family activities, live music, and whitewater attractions at the venue.
