Monserate Endurance Test

The Monserate Endurance Test is a trail running competition held at the Monserate Mt. Preserve in Fallbrook, California. This event follows a loop-based format where participants aim to complete as many laps as possible within a set timeframe. The course is situated in a hilly environment, and there are no specific time cutoffs enforced per loop.

Participants can choose from three distinct event categories:

  • 12-Hour Team - Groups accumulate total loops by running together or separately throughout the day.
  • 12-Hour Solo - Individual runners attempt to complete as many laps as possible over 12 hours.
  • 6-Hour Solo - Individual runners complete as many laps as possible during a 6-hour window.

The event structure includes one fully stocked aid station located at the bottom of every loop. This station provides runners with fuel and water after each lap. The competition is designed to allow participants to move at their own pace, whether they intend to complete a single loop or multiple laps. The event focuses on community participation and personal endurance in a trail setting. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
