MLS Long Valley North - The Nick Bateson Trophy is an orienteering event held on Wednesday 31st December as part of the Military League (South). Entries close on 30th December. • Very Short Green 1.9 km 30 m climb - Experienced orienteers only
• Long Orange 5.3 km 100 m climb - Suitable for novices
• Orange 3.5 km 25 m climb - Suitable for novices
• Score 75 mins - Score event, 75 minute time limit

Entry and practical information

Entry fees vary by category, for example civilian senior £8.00 and junior £5.50; a chip hire fee of £2.00 applies for many categories. Juniors are defined as under 21 on 31st December. There is an EOD surcharge of £1.50 per entry. Competitors must follow the British Orienteering Participant Code of Conduct. Full leg and arm cover is mandatory; whistles are compulsory.
