Post-race food is provided on-site at the start/finish area. Finisher mementos are given, and belt buckles are awarded to 50 Mile and 100 Mile finishers. The event is noted as the 30th annual edition.

Course and race format

The course follows gently rolling pine forest terrain, mostly single track with some double-track logging roads. Loop formats are used: the 50 Mile course comprises three 12.5-mile loops plus two 6.1-mile loops; the 100 Mile course comprises seven 12.5-mile loops plus two 6.1-mile loops. The 50K and 50 Mile events have a 12-hour time limit; the 100 Mile event has a 30-hour time limit. Runners may switch to a shorter distance after completing one or more loops; runners who switch during the race are counted as finishers but are not eligible for trophies.
