Merapi Merbabu de Trail is a mountain trail running event on Mt. Merbabu via Genting, Selo, Boyolali in Central Java, Indonesia. The event is scheduled across July 31 to August 2, 2026 and uses trails with varied terrain and panoramic views that include nearby Mt. Merapi.

The event offers multiple race distances with specified elevation gains and support on course:

• 30k Open / Master (40+) - elevation gain 3,222 m
• 15k - elevation gain 1,650 m
• 5k - elevation gain 575 m

Categories include an Open 30k, Master 30k (age 40+), 15k and 5k. The longest category has an overall time limit of 18 hours; shorter categories have their own cut off times. Aid stations and checkpoints are placed along each route and food and drink at aid stations are reserved for registered racers. The course is fully on tracked trails and includes sections with marked no-passing rules and night reflectors where required.

Registration includes race entry, running apparel, personalized BIB or chip, finisher items for some categories, medical care at stations, fluids and post-race refreshment. Entry rules require a medical certificate and age minimum of 18 years; youths need parental permission. Some categories have qualification requirements based on prior race completion.
