The course is a wheeled, exact two mile loop on the Trinity River trails. The surface is paved with the option to run alongside it on grass. The aid station is located at the loop start and finish and is described as a full aid station. Typical supplies include drinks and electrolytes, sodas, sweets and salty snacks, PB&J and burrito style food, fruit, hot evening foods, and basic medical supplies with no NSAIDs provided. The event is cupless at aid stations; runners are expected to use reusable cups, bottles, or hydration packs. A drop bag area is available at the main aid station.
Relay teams are four members per team for the 48 hour and 24 hour relays; each member must complete the two mile loop and teams can choose loop order and allocation. No pacers are allowed and crew must remain outside the aid station. Parking is available near the start and additional spaces are about 30 yards away on 120 S Sylvania. There are roughly 20 hotels within three miles. Swag varies by distance and finishers over 100k receive a buckle that opens to hold a beer glass; other finishers receive medals. An engraver will be onsite for personalization. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
