Martin House Miler
The Martin House Miler is a timed trail running event held at Martin House Brewery in Fort Worth, Texas. It is part of the Trails To Taps Series and has a maximum field of 300 runners. The event offers multiple timed distances and a relay option for the longest events.
The course is a wheeled, exactly two mile loop on the Trinity River trails. The surface is paved with the option to run along the grass beside the trail. The aid station is located at the start and finish of the loop and is described as a full aid station stocked with drinks, sodas, sweets, salty snacks, sandwiches, hot foods and basic medical supplies; NSAIDs are not provided. The event operates cupless aid stations and encourages reusable bottles, cups, or hydration packs. A drop bag area is provided at the main aid station.
Relay teams for the 48 hour and 24 hour events are four person teams; each team member must complete the two mile loop and teams may choose the order and number of loops per member. Pacers are not permitted and crew must remain outside the aid station area. There is parking near the start and additional parking about 30 yards away on 120 S Sylvania. About twenty hotels are located within three miles of the brewery.
Race merchandise and finisher items vary by distance, and awards are given for top finishers including male, female and non binary categories. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
