Seasonal Trail Run in Suamico

The Maple Syrup 5K & Mini Maple Fun Run takes place at the Brown County Reforestation Camp in Suamico, Wisconsin. This event features wide, well-maintained trails that are suitable for both trail and road runners. Participants can choose between several activities:

• Mini Maple Fun Run
• Pancake Breakfast

Those participating in the 5K receive a beanie with their registration and a small bottle of maple syrup upon crossing the finish line. Awards are presented to the overall top male and female finishers in this distance. The course is open to various activity levels including competitive runners, walkers, and hikers. The 5K event is also dog-friendly, though animals are not permitted inside the ski lodge during the post-race meal.

The Mini Maple Fun Run is an event designed for children and family members. Each participant in the fun run receives a maple chocolate chip cookie at the finish line.

A pancake breakfast, featuring locally produced maple syrup, is served at the Reforestation Camp Ski Lodge. This meal is included for all run participants, though separate registration is available for those who wish to attend only the breakfast. The event supports Brown County Parks and the Bay Nordic Ski Club, which promotes youth athletics and healthy lifestyles in the Northeastern Wisconsin region.
