Navarino Nature Center Trail Run 10K

Event Overview

The 2026 Trail Run / Walk at Navarino Nature Center takes place in Shiocton, Wisconsin. This event serves as a fundraiser for a non-profit organization that provides environmental education programs and maintains local trail infrastructure. Participants can choose from several distances:

• 10 km individual running race
• 5 km individual running race
• 5 km walking event
• 1 mile kid's fun run

Course Details

The course passes through diverse natural landscapes, including forests, prairies, and marshes. Participants will encounter varied terrain such as mud and tree roots. The route features two boardwalks, each 8 feet wide, which span across bogs within the nature center grounds.

Participant Information

Staff and volunteers provide timing for the event, and a timing display is available at the center. There are no specific awards based on placement; instead, all participants receive a commemorative medal. Packet pickup is located outside the nature center classroom on the west side of the building on the morning of the event. Maps are provided in advance through the organizer's website.
