MammothMarch Boston 2027

MammothMarch Boston is scheduled for Saturday, June 5, 2027, at Wompatuck State Park in Hingham, Massachusetts. The event takes place at the park’s South Field and highlights the park’s undeveloped, heavily wooded landscape with streams, ponds and about 3,500 acres of trails. The park is located roughly 20 miles south of downtown Boston.

The event is a single loop covering 20 miles, with a target completion window of 8 hours. There is no official timekeeping; every participant who completes the distance receives a finisher medal and a personalized certificate. Participants who stop before the finish receive a certificate stating mileage covered.

The route covers a mix of surfaces and terrain, including paved and unpaved hiking trails, dirt trails, gravel roads and forest floor. Total elevation gain is around 950 ft. The final course map will be published about two weeks before the event.

Aid and refreshment stations are placed approximately every 5 to 7 miles and include toilets, food and drinks. Station provisions vary but may include water, energy drinks, electrolytes, fruit, cereal or protein bars and PBJ sandwiches; these refreshments are included with registration. Complimentary parking is available on site. Lodging information will be provided later. Merchandise ordered through the event store is available for pickup on event day while items ordered from the official online shop can be shipped. A MammothMarch Hiking Pass will be used to collect 2027 event stamps. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
