Course and logistics

The route follows winding forest trails and features a one-third mile river crossing on the Embarras River where, in July, water typically ranges from ankle to knee deep and exposes sandy bars and rocky riffles. A steep climb known as Billy Goat Hill is located near the finish. Registration is limited and closes on July 20.
