Elsa Chicken Plucker Backyard Ultra
Elsa Chicken Plucker Backyard Ultra is a Backyard Ultra held at Willenborg Woods in Charleston, IL on June 5, 2027. The event uses an hourly loop format on a property of about 149 acres with maintained trail mileage.
Runners complete a repeating loop of 4.167-mile each hour; the last runner remaining is awarded a Bronze Ticket toward the Backyard Ultra World Championship. The course includes riverside sections, ridge-top terrain, a mix of single-track and groomed grass trails on the day loop, grass trails and country roads on the night loop, and a feature called the Tunnel of Trees.
Event rules require completing the loop each hour. One support crew member is allowed per runner. Reflective gear is required for night running. Missing an hourly loop results in elimination from the race.
Willenborg Woods is listed as the organizer. An entry price of USD 131.30 is shown for available offers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
