The Lula Lake Trail Blazer is a trail running event hosted by the Lula Lake Land Trust. The event offers four race distances: a 50K, a Half Marathon, a 10K, and a Kids Fun Run for participants 12 years and under.

Course Details

The courses use trails on the Lula Lake Land Trust properties across Lookout Mountain, Georgia. Runners will pass scenic views including waterfalls and bluff overlooks. The 10K has an elevation gain of 630 feet. The Half Marathon course gains over 1,400 feet, and the 50K course has an elevation gain of approximately 5,000 feet. Aid stations are provided along the courses.

Registration and Proceeds

Registration includes food, a drink, and access to an afterparty. A race t-shirt is guaranteed for registrations received before October 10, 2026. All proceeds from the event go directly back into the Lula Lake Land Trust's trail maintenance, construction, and conservation efforts.

Additional Activities
