Louis Tewanima Footrace

The Louis Tewanima Footrace is an annual running event held in the Hopi Village of Shungopavi, Second Mesa, AZ. It features a 10K and 5K trail run, as well as a 1-mile fun run/walk. The event honors Louis Tewanima, a renowned Hopi long-distance runner.
Participants can enjoy a pre-race carb dinner and receive race T-shirts and goody bags. Prizes include traditional Hopi awards and medals for top finishers. Proceeds benefit the Louis Tewanima Foundation.
