Lostine, United States • 4 Jul 2026
The Lostine River Run is a point-to-point running event on July 4, 2026, in Lostine, Oregon. The course follows the Lostine River and is mostly on pavement while retaining a trail-like feel because of the surrounding natural scenery. The route is largely downhill with gentle rolling hills in the first half and a small hill near the end. Participants are transported by bus to the start.
Distances:
- 10K point-to-point, mostly on pavement, trail-like surroundings
- 5K point-to-point, mostly on pavement, trail-like surroundings

The event is organized by the Rotary Club of Wallowa County. Proceeds benefit Rotary youth programs and Memorial Scholarship Funds. The race is dog and stroller friendly; organizers note participants should plan for bus transportation to the start when bringing dogs or strollers.
Timing uses a chip located on the back of the race bib; bibs should be worn on the chest and the chip must not be removed. Prizes are awarded to top male, female, Masters and overall in the 5K and 10K. Ribbons are given to the top three finishers in each age group for each run or walk. Age group categories include under 13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and up.
Entry prices vary by distance and age group, with different adult and day-of rates and reduced fees for children. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
