Lostine River Run

Lostine River Run/Walk - Lostine, Oregon

The Lostine River Run is a point-to-point running and walking event held along the Lostine River in Lostine, Oregon. The event offers three distance options:

• 10K
• 5K
• 1 mile

The course is mostly on pavement and is described as having the feel of a trail because of the natural surroundings. The route is mostly downhill with gentle rolling hills in the first half and a small hill near the end. Participants are transported by bus to the start; this should be considered when planning for dogs or strollers. The event is dog and stroller friendly.

The race is organized by the Rotary Club of Wallowa County. Proceeds benefit Rotary youth programs and Memorial Scholarship Funds. Registration can be completed without creating an account on the timing platform; guest registration is allowed. The timing chip is on the back of the race bib and the bib should be worn on the chest.

Prizes are awarded to top finishers in the 5K and 10K overall, male, female, and Masters categories. Ribbons are given to the top three finishers in each age group. Age classes start under 13 and continue in standard decade groups through 70 and up. Entry fees vary by distance and by adult or child pricing.
