Live Free Fun Run and Festival

The second annual Live Free Fun Run and Festival takes place on May 31, 2026 at Ice House Park on Sturgis Street at Horn Pond in Woburn, MA 01801. The event is organized to promote awareness and empowerment around mental health and substance use.

The event offers a scenic 2.5 mile off-road run or walk that follows a route around Horn Pond and starts and ends at the festival area. Event options include a timed 2.5 mile fun run or walk, an untimed 2.5 mile fun run or walk, or festival registration only.

The festival features food trucks, raffles, a DJ, yard games, and kids activities. More than 25 local mental health and substance use providers will host tables to share information about their missions and services. The festival and the run share the same start and finish area at Ice House Park, concentrating the activities in a single park setting.
