Little Patuxent River Half Marathon, 10K & 5K

The 2026 event was rescheduled to February 21, 2026. The races start and finish at the Guilford Pratt Truss Bridge in Columbia, Maryland, near 9175 Guilford Road, Columbia MD 21046.

Runners follow sections of the Patuxent and Wincopin trails. The course runs along the Little Patuxent and Middle Patuxent River. Terrain is described as tame compared to many other trail races. The event offers multiple distances:

  • Half marathon (13.1 miles)
  • 10K (6.55 miles)
  • 5K (3.1 miles)

Registration includes a long sleeve shirt, a finisher medal and knit gloves. Participants can earn three finisher medals by registering for and completing one of the following paired challenges: 5K plus 10K, or 5K plus the half marathon.
