Lions Muddy Fun Run
The Lions Muddy Fun Run is a community obstacle run organised by the Lions Club of Jersey. Conceived in 2019, the event features a single outdoor course of approximately 3.5 km across Jersey fields with obstacles, muddy ponds and ditches. The next event is scheduled for 19th September 2026 and entries are now open online.
Participants may enter as individuals, families or teams of up to six people. Entrants must be at least 7 years old or at least 1.2 m tall. All children under 14 years must be accompanied by a participating adult. Runners are released in colour-coded batches every 10-15 minutes; entrants receive a coloured wristband and start allocation at Registration after signing the event disclaimer.
On-site facilities include plenty of free parking directed by marshalls, a left luggage desk for small items, a communal shower area for rinsing mud, and beverages for sale. Free drinking water is provided; participants are asked to use refillable bottles. There are no formal changing facilities.
Course marshalls and signage are in place and participants are reminded that the course may be slippery and contains hazards. The event is not run against the clock and medals are available at the finish. Photographs are taken during the day and a costumed mascot will be present.
