Lilyan Wright Trail Fun Run

The Lilyan Wright Trail Fun Run takes place on Saturday, September 5, 2026, around Gunnison Lake in Goshen, New Hampshire. The course follows the lakeside trail around the body of water locally known as "Goshen Ocean." The event begins and ends at the end of Gunnison Lake Road in Goshen.

Distances offered:

  • 3 Miles
  • 5.7 Miles

Both races utilize the 3 mile trail around the lake. The longer distance earns series points toward the Western NH Trail Running Series standings. Awards are given to the top three finishers in each age group. There will be swag and a raffle on site.

Walkers are welcome. Well behaved, leashed dogs are allowed at the venue but are not permitted on the race course during the event. Food will be available for sale or donation at the race site. Vendors and local conservation and environmental groups are invited to set up information tables.

Pre-registration is available online only through September 3, 2026. Entry fees differ by age: 14 and under are free; ages 15 to 19 and ages 20 and older have separate pre-registration and race day rates. The event is named for Dr. Lilyan Boyd Wright, a longtime educator and athlete who lived in Goshen. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
