All Out Trail Run Race
The All Out Trail Run Race is presented by the Claremont Parks and Recreation Department and takes place at Moody Park in Claremont, NH. The course is approximately 4.61 mile in length and follows a single long circuit that begins near the picnic area at the top of the park and returns to the same general area.
Runners move quickly into the woods onto a narrow, winding trail that opens to a logging road and later narrows again to single track. The middle section includes several wet areas that can hold water and mud. The route then returns to a wider trail before reaching a section known locally as Gravity Cavity, where the trail drops steeply and then climbs steeply. The final mile is a long gradual uphill back toward the starting area.
The course is marked for participants and the event is managed as part of the Western New Hampshire Trail Running Series. Prizes for each age category include products from North Country Smokehouse. Proceeds from the race are directed to the Claremont Parks and Recreation Department.
