Lily Lake Lollygag Trail Run 2026

The Lily Lake Lollygag Trail Run takes place within the Van Tassel Lake trail system in Digby, Nova Scotia. The event features courses that pass through lake frontage and forest environments before ascending toward the summit. This competition is organized as a "Run Green" event.

Participants can choose from the following distances and categories:

  • 12 km: A trail run consisting of two loops around Van Tassel Lake and up to the summit.
  • 6 km: A single loop trail run covering the lake shore, forest, and summit.
  • 6 km (Walk/Hike): A non-competitive category for those wishing to walk the course to the summit.
  • 1 km, 2 km, or 3 km: Kids' races specifically for children aged 12 and under.

The children's races are offered free of charge or by freewill offering on the day of the event. It is a requirement that participants under the age of 5 be accompanied by an adult.
