Keji's Backyard Ultra 2026 takes place at Kejimkujik National Park and National Historic Site in Nova Scotia. This event marks the 5th annual edition and is designated as a Bronze Ticket event. The registration, start, and finish area is located at the Jim Charles Point parking lot.

The competition follows a last person standing format. Participants must complete a 6.67 km out-and-back course on an easy gravel trail with approximately 35 meters of elevation gain per loop. Runners have exactly one hour to finish the loop. If completed within the hour, participants may rest until the next loop begins at the top of the following hour. The race continues until only one runner can complete a loop within the time limit.

The race is capped at 150 runners. Facilities near the start/finish area include bathrooms and showers located 12 meters away, and a lake beach 65 meters away. A cafe is located within the park 10 km from the site. Cash prizes are awarded to the winner, the assist, and the top female finisher.
