The Half Marathon follows the Big Wood River before ascending the Oregon Fox Connector trail. The half has a reported high point near 7,600 ft and an elevation gain/loss around 2,372 ft. The Ultra builds on the half route with an added loop around Fox Peak and an extension toward Easley Hot Springs. The ultra has a reported high point near 8,550 ft and an elevation gain around 6,781 ft. Runners will use marked, steep single-track loops and aid stations placed on course.
