Don't Die in the Chair Last Man Standing, Rome GA

Don't Die in the Chair Last Man Standing is presented by Three of Seven Project and takes place near Rome, GA. The event follows a Last Man Standing format similar to a backyard ultra but with a timed twist: each loop must be completed in one minute less than the previous loop, so required pace increases as the race progresses. Each loop measures 4 miles. Example cutoffs given by the organizer include an initial 1 hour cutoff, then 59 minutes, then 58 minutes, and so on.

On-course and venue details include one aid station at the start and finish stocked with water and snacks. A local food truck is expected to be available, and participants are advised to bring additional food and water because the venue is a decent drive from town. Camping is allowed on site the day before and the day of the event; tents and RVs are permitted but there are no hookups. Ground fires are not allowed; portable fire pits only. Porta-potties will be available on site.

Additional notes from the organizer: registration sales are final with no refunds or exchanges, limited event merchandise will be available for purchase for cash only, and GPS coordinates are provided as 34.20939070876156, -85.02823789037622.
