Lap The Valley Backyard Ultra

Boyne Valley, Australia • 12 Sep 2026

Event format

Lap The Valley uses the Backyard Ultra format. Competitors must complete a 6.71 km lap within each hour to be allowed to start the next lap. The last competitor to complete a lap alone is recorded as the official finisher; all others who stop before that point are recorded as DNF. All competitors must attend a mandatory race briefing and must start on the first lap. Laps start on the hour and each lap must be completed in that hour. Night laps require a headlamp or torch to be used while on course. The event rules prohibit support crew or eliminated competitors on the course, personal aid during a lap, artificial aids, and stashing aid on the trail.
