Location and logistics

The start and finish are at the Piedras Pintadas Trailhead. Race day parking uses four primary lots (A, B, C, D); there is no event parking at the start/finish. Packet pick-up is available in the days before the event at Milestone Running Store (North Park) and on race day at the event. The last day to register to guarantee a finisher shirt is October 7, 2026.

Race features and rules

The festival is CUPLESS; aid stations will not provide cups and participants must bring a hydration vessel. Finishers of the main distances receive a custom tri-blend shirt and a handcrafted wooden medal; duathlon and all runners receive a custom drink vessel. 10K Bernardo Challenge finishers receive a summit coin. Awards are given to 1st–3rd place male and female in each timed distance. The trail duathlon is chip-timed; approved bike types include mountain, gravel, and hybrid.
