La Classique Tremblant : event description
La Classique Tremblant is a trail running event held at the Tremblant resort. The event offers several forest routes that are officially marked on the trails, with maps and Strava routes available for pre-riding. Starts take place at Place Saint-Bernard and the finish on the Onésime timing mat. Routes may change depending on trail conditions and operational requirements.
Distances offered
- 1 km for ages 0 to 12
- 3 km for ages 4 and up
- 5 km for ages 7 and up
- 10 km for ages 10 and up
- 20 km for ages 12 and up
- 30 km for ages 16 and up
Published elevation gains include 1,476 m D+ for the 30 km and 1,075 m D+ for the 20 km; shorter distances have lower elevation gain. Aid stations are placed according to distance and provide water and sports hydration; an after-race refreshment with water, fruit and vegetable broth is available at the finish. Organizers publish mandatory and recommended equipment by distance, including a personal cup or container, whistle, survival blanket, 500 ml+ water bottle, emergency food, and a breathable waterproof windbreaker. Headphones that fully cover the ears are not allowed. Trophies are awarded to the top three on several distances and podiums are held for men and women.
