The Knock On Wood Trail Run/Hike takes place on April 25, 2026 at Pleasant Ridge County Park, Camp Spearhead, 4232 SC-11, Marietta, SC 29661. The event offers a trail half marathon and a 10K loop course.

Course and aid stations

The trail uses a 10K loop with about 650 feet of rolling elevation per lap and over 90% shade. Directional arrows mark the route. A four-hour cutoff applies.
There is one aid station at the main shelter on each loop. Available items include water, Coke, ginger ale, pickles, cookies, chips, candy, fig newtons, and pretzels. The event requests participants use a personal hydration vessel.

Included items and policies

Registration includes access to the park, a finisher medal, a custom race bib, event giveaways, a race sticker, complimentary race photos, music and a post-race party, chip timing with live tracking and results, a hydration sample, and a custom collapsible hydration cup.
Registration policies allow transfers and distance changes. Club members receive a 15% registration discount and referring two runners yields a $5 discount. Race shirts are sold separately. No refunds or deferrals are offered unless the event sells out; if sold out, a 50% off code for a future Upstate Race Series event may be requested.

Awards

Trophies are awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers. Age-group awards are given to first through third place in standard age categories from children through 80+.
