Course, aid, and cutoffs

The course uses a loop trail at Camp Spearhead. The 10K loop has about 650 feet of rolling elevation per lap and is reported to be over 90% shaded. Directional arrows mark the course. There is one aid station at the main shelter on each loop. Aid station supplies listed include pickles, cookies, chips, candy, fig newtons, pretzels, water, Coke, and ginger ale. The event requests runners bring their own cup or hydration vessel; cups are not provided. A four-hour cutoff is stated for the distances.

Registration, services, and awards

Registration includes park entry, a finisher medal, a custom race bib, event giveaways, a race sticker, complimentary race photos, music and a post-race party, chip timing with live tracking and results, and a hydration sample. Volunteers who work a three-hour shift can earn a free entry to an Upstate Race Series-owned event. Overall top three finishers receive trophies and age group awards are given for 1st to 3rd by male and female in age groups ranging from 0–9 up to 80+.
