Knock On Wood Trail Run/Hike - 13.1 & 10k

Knock On Wood Trail Run/Hike takes place at Camp Spearhead in Pleasant Ridge County Park, Marietta, SC (4232 SC-11) on May 1, 2027. The event offers two distances:

  • 13.1 miles
  • 10K

The course uses a roughly 10K trail loop with about 650 feet of elevation per lap and more than 90% shade. Directional arrows mark the route and a single aid station is located at the main shelter each loop. Aid station supplies listed for the event include pickles, cookies, chips, candy, fig newtons, pretzels, water, Coke, and ginger ale. Participants must bring a personal hydration vessel because the event is cup-less.

Entry benefits and race services included with registration cover park entry, a race bib, chip timing with live tracking and results, a finisher medal, event-themed giveaways, a sticker, and a hydration sample. Complimentary race photos, music, and a post-race gathering are part of the event experience. The first 100 participants receive custom race socks.

Awards recognize the top three overall finishers male and female with trophies and the first three in each age group with age group series medals. Age group categories span youth to 80 plus. Donations from the event support Camp Spearhead and a series of local nonprofits. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
