Kiama Coastal Classic

Kiama Coastal Classic - 2026

The Kiama Coastal Classic is a distance running event held along the South Coast of New South Wales. The course explores the rugged coastline and iconic landmarks of the region, passing through Werri Beach and Kiama Beach. Participants move between rolling green hills and ocean views throughout the various race sections.

The event offers several distances to accommodate different experience levels:

• 21km Coastal Classic
• 12km One Way Classic
• 5km Dash
• 2km Bolt

The 21km Coastal Classic is the main event and includes a specific time requirement; athletes must reach the turnaround point at the Werri Beach Checkpoint within two hours. The 12km One Way Classic requires participants to collect their race packs in Kiama before starting. For this distance, transportation is available via buses from Kiama to the start line in Gerringong, with tickets available during registration.

All finishers receive a medal upon completion of their run. Additionally, podium medals are awarded to the top three finishers in each age category.
