Kesugi Ridge Traverse
The 14th Kesugi Ridge Traverse is a trail running event on August 8, 2026, held in Denali State Park. The venue for both course options is the Little Coal Creek Trailhead at Mile 164 on the Parks Highway. The event offers two route choices covering ridge and backcountry terrain.
Distances:
- Full Traverse, 31 miles
- Half Traverse, 14.2 miles
Registration is online only with an entry fee of $85 plus a registration service fee. Registration opens on May 1 and operates on a first come first served basis. Total entrant capacity is limited to 100, with an intended split of about 50 entries for each distance. Once capacity is reached, a waitlist will be used.
