Iron Horse Ultra
The Iron Horse Ultra is located in the Lakeland region of northern Alberta and is part of the Alberta Ultra Series. The main event is a continuous 100 mile trail race. The event lists options to race as a team or solo and also offers a 100 kilometre distance.

The race weekend is scheduled for October 2, 3, and 4. The route follows county roads, gravel trail beds, single track trails and wide open fields. Aid stations and volunteers are stationed along the course and private landowners allow use of sections of their land.
The start location is Reunion Station, 4012-53 Ave, St. Paul, AB. Registration information lists several time windows and fees: December 5, 2025 to January 31, 2026 at $100.00 per runner, February 1 to June 30, 2026 at $150.00 per runner, and July 1 to August 1, 2026 at $200.00 per runner for teams.
