2026 iBE-FiT 5K Invitational

The event is a 5K run held at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx, New York on June 13, 2026. It includes an in-person race at the Broadway Parade Grounds near the Tortoise and Hare Statue and a separate virtual 5K option. Registration fees are listed at $36.00 for each option. Registration windows are provided separately for the in-person and virtual entries.

Distances

  • 5K in-person at Van Cortlandt Park Broadway Parade Grounds.
  • 5K virtual with instructions sent by email after registration.

The in-person course uses two loops that combine flat sections and a hilly section. The flats surround the Parade Grounds and lead into "Freshman Hill", followed by climbs on the back hills and a series of downhills before finishing on the flats. All finishers receive a medal. T shirts are offered as an optional add on during registration. Refreshments will be available at tents by the finish area before and after the race. An awards ceremony and a vote of thanks to sponsors follow the race.

A portion of proceeds will fund new iBE FiT athletic apparel for Fall 2026. A combined 47% of proceeds will help fund programs benefiting Goodnews To Scholars and the RCCG Tabernacle of Restoration Building Project. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
