Registration, logistics and amenities
Online registration closes Thursday, May 14, 2026. Early bird pricing applies through December 31, with regular pricing through April 30 and higher fees thereafter. Fee tiers include:
- Half Marathon: early bird $65; regular $75; later $85; day-of $75 (no shirt).
- 5 Mile: early bird $25; regular $35; later $45; day-of $45.
- 5K: early bird $20; regular $30; later $40; day-of $40. Packet pickup is available Friday, May 22 from 3:00-5:00 PM at Quickhatch Provisions and on race morning at Joseph City Park from 6:30-7:45 AM. Tri Blend Bella Canvas shirts are included with pre-registration for Half Marathon entrants; 5 Mile and 5K shirts are not included and may be purchased.
Course and awards
The Half Marathon is an out-and-back course starting near 4,200 ft and climbing to about 5,100 ft. Surface and route details: first 3 miles paved, next 6 miles maintained dirt road, final 3 miles paved. Water or aid stations are located near mile 3, mile 6.5, and mile 10. The route offers views of the Wallowa Mountains, Eagle Cap Wilderness, Seven Devils, and nearby high valleys. Awards are given to the top three male and top three female overall finishers in the Half, 5 Mile, and 5K. Each Half Marathon finisher receives a finisher medal.
