Hurricane Hundred K

The Hurricane Hundred is a trail running event at Meeks Mountain Trails in Hurricane, West Virginia. The solo 100K is run as six loops of a 10.3 mile single-track course, totaling about 62 miles. The event also offers a three-person relay.

  • 100K - six 10.3 mile single-track loops (about 62 miles total)
  • 100k Relay - teams of three, one chip per team, six laps completed collectively

Solo runners can crew between laps at the race command center and crew pit near the shelter in the back of the bowl. Pacers are permitted for solo runners on the final two laps. Solo finishers receive a hoodie, a finisher award, a tote with sponsor swag, and a Hurricane 100k belt buckle.

A total prize purse of $10,000 is offered for solo 100k competitors, with specified awards for the top three male and female finishers. Relay teams receive hand-crafted awards for top all-male, all-female, and coed teams. The race is Trail Sisters approved and provides female-specific swag, equal podium spots and prize money, and feminine products at aid stations.

Registration is limited to 150 runners. Fees are tiered and range from about $120 to $160 for solo entries and about $90 to $110 per relay member.
