Hurricane 100k
The Hurricane 100k is a trail running event at Meeks Mountain Trails in Hurricane, West Virginia. The solo course covers 62 miles arranged as six loops of about 10.3 miles on 100 percent single-track trails. The event includes a relay option for teams of three.

A total prize purse of $10,000 is offered for solo runners with specified payouts for top male and female finishers and a course record bonus for each gender. Relay category winners receive hand-crafted awards. Solo runners receive a hoodie, a finisher’s award, a sponsor tote, and a Hurricane 100k belt buckle. Pacers are permitted for the last two loops for solo runners.
Race operations are centered at a shelter in the back of the bowl, which serves as the race command center, crew pit, and team hangout. Crews can meet runners between each lap. There is a firm cutoff for starting the final loop for participant safety. Registration is limited to 150 runners and tiers of registration pricing apply. Active military, veterans, first responders, and family members are eligible for a 15 percent discount with the code "service." Discounted hotel rates are available at a local Wingate by Wyndham.
