Howard Aslinger Endurance Run

The Howard Aslinger Endurance Run is an endurance running event in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, staged at Arena Park (410 Kiwanis Drive). The event offers time based races on a paved loop course around the park.

The course is a flat loop on pavement and carries course certification MO19003DG. Runners compete in individual divisions separated by sex and age categories, plus a wheelchair and disability division. The two 12 hour runs are combined into one division for awards.

One fully stocked aid station is provided with sports drink, water, pretzels, bananas, potato chips, cookies, and boiled potatoes. Packets are available at the 4 H building in Arena Park. A pre race briefing is held before each event, and a post race meal and entertainment follow the competition.

Proceeds benefit a memorial scholarship foundation that awards scholarships to candidates for university, vocational training, or special needs education.
