Event overview

The 3rd Horseshoe Crab Hustle takes place on Sunday, November 9, 2025, in Ocean View, DE. The event begins and ends at Bethany Brewing Company and the courses are routed primarily on the trails of Fresh Pond State Park. The event benefits the Delaware Center for the Inland Bays and is produced by Seashore Strider Event Production, Inc. Logistics and policies

Packet pick-up is scheduled Saturday, 11/08/25 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Bethany Brewing Company and on race day from 7:30 am to 8:45 am at the same location. Registrants are advised to register by November 1 to guarantee an event t-shirt. Registration fees are listed as $40 for the 10k (increasing to $45 on race day) and $25 for the 1.5 mile walk; the 10k price increases after November 8 at 10:00 pm, and walk registration closes November 8 at 10:00 pm and re-opens November 9 at 7:30 am.

Timing will use the Chronotrack B Chip system. Awards will be presented to overall male and female winners, overall masters (40+), and the top three male and female finishers in 10-year age groups through 70+. The walk is designated as a non-competitive fun walk. The organizer’s refund policy states no refunds, with options to transfer entries, donate fees, or defer to a future event.
