The 6th Annual Honor and Remember Run takes place on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Cool Springs, 9412 E State Road 64, Velpen, IN 47590. The event was created in honor of military veterans, their families, emergency personnel, and those who died on 9/11 and in subsequent wars. All races start and finish at the same place. The 10K Trail includes a Ruck option; Ruck Run participants are encouraged to perform two sets of 22 honor pushups and pullups before and after the run to raise awareness of veteran suicide statistics. Awards and refreshments will be provided. The race will be timed by To The Finish Timing.

Registration and fees
Registration opens November 11, 2025. Pre-registration by July 18 includes a t-shirt; registration on July 19 or after does not include a t-shirt. Fee structure listed by the organizer:
- 5K: $15 for ages 0-12; $30 for ages 13+
- 10K Trail and Ruck: $15 for ages 0-12; $40 for ages 13+
- Virtual race: $45 for all participants
