High Lodge Half Marathon Spring

The High Lodge Half Marathon is a circular trail race held in Thetford Forest on Sunday 1st March 2026. The route follows mixed surfaces including hard packed sand, grassy footpaths and forest trails, and passes through areas that are habitat for fallow deer and wild thyme.

The event is manually timed and traffic free. All finishers receive a medal and podium trophies are awarded to the top three male and top three female finishers. The race is cupless; fresh water is provided on course for participants to refill their own bottles. Professional photography is available.

Entry fees are listed at £25 and £27. Minimum age is 17 years and there is a 3.5 hour cut off for the half marathon. Race numbers are collected at the race start location from 08:00 on race day and will not be sent out in advance. A £2 fee applies to runners who are not attached to a club in order to comply with UK Athletics rules.

Participants enter at their own risk and must be medically fit to take part. Medical assistance will be available on site but organisers and landowners accept no liability for injuries. Competitors are advised to wear grippy footwear suitable for varied terrain. By entering, participants consent to the use of photos and video from the event.
