High Lodge Half Marathon - Spring

The event is a circular trail Half Marathon through Thetford Forest that follows a mix of hard-packed trails, grassy footpaths and forest routes. The course passes through varied terrain and wildlife areas, with sections of hard-packed sand and grassy surfaces.

The event is manually timed and traffic free. It is a cupless race: fresh drinking water is provided at points on the route for runners to refill their own bottles, but no cups are supplied. An optional eco friendly finisher medal is available. Professional photography will be present and podium trophies are awarded to the top three male and top three female finishers.

Entry rules include a minimum age of 17 years and a 3.5 hour cut-off for the Half Marathon. A £2 fee applies to runners who are not attached to a club to comply with UK Athletics rules. Race numbers are not posted in advance and must be collected at the race start.

Medical assistance will be available during the event, but organisers and landowners do not accept liability for injuries. Participants are required to ensure they are medically fit to take part; appropriate grippy footwear is essential due to the varied terrain.
