High Lodge Half Marathon - Spring
The High Lodge event is a half marathon held on Sunday 4 April 2027 in Thetford Forest. The route is a circular, multi‑terrain trail that passes through forest tracks and areas noted for wildlife such as fallow deer and patches of wild thyme.
The surface includes hard‑packed sand, grassy footpaths and forest trails. The event is traffic free, manually timed and offers professional photography. An optional eco friendly finisher medal is available and podium trophies are awarded to the top three male and top three female finishers.
This is a cupless race to reduce single‑use waste. Fresh drinking water is provided along the course for participants to refill their own bottles. Minimum age for entry is 17 years and a 3.5 hour cut off applies for the half marathon. To comply with UK Athletics rules, a £2 fee applies to runners not attached to a club.
Race numbers will not be sent in advance and must be collected on race day. Participants enter at their own risk and must confirm they are medically fit to take part. Grippy footwear is recommended for the varied terrain. Medical assistance will be available during the event, but the organisers and landowners accept no liability for injuries. By entering, runners consent to the use of photos and video and must agree to the event terms and conditions.
