High Lodge Half Marathon - Spring

The High Lodge Half Marathon - Spring is a trail half marathon held in Thetford Forest on Sunday 4 April 2027. The course is a circular route that passes through forested areas and offers a mixture of firm trails and softer surfaces.

The route follows a variety of terrains including hard-packed sand, grassy footpaths and forest trails. Wildlife is present along the route and organisers note fallow deer and wild thyme in the area. The course is traffic free and described as multi-terrain, so grippy footwear is recommended for safe participation.

The event is manually timed and offers professional photography. An optional eco friendly finisher medal is available and podium trophies are awarded to the top three male and female finishers. The race operates as a cupless event; drinking water will be available at refill points for runners to use with their own bottles.

Entry conditions and race rules state a minimum age of 17 years and a 3.5 hour cut off for the half marathon. Race numbers are not posted in advance and must be collected at the race start. A small fee applies to competitors who are not attached to a club in order to comply with UK Athletics rules. The event holds TRA Permit 6987. Participants enter at their own risk and must be medically fit to take part. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
