The Heritage Classical Academy 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run is a fundraising event supporting the growth of Heritage Classical Academy, a K-12 Classical Christian school in Ruston. Proceeds will aid in adding first and second grades for the 2026-2027 school year.
Race Details
The event takes place at The Gospel, located at 108 Sanctuary Road in Ruston, Louisiana. The course is described as cross-country style, run primarily on grass. Two race options are offered:
- A 5K run.
- A 1 Mile fun run or walk.
Registration prices are listed as $35 for the 5K and $30 for the 1 Mile event. Registration ends on March 1, 2026.
Awards and Logistics
Awards are presented in several categories. For the 5K, awards are given for overall male and female winners, as well as age group winners in brackets from Under 10 to 70+. The 1 Mile fun run awards overall male and female winners.
Race packet pickup is available at two locations and times:
- On Wednesday, March 4, from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at Calvary Baptist Church (5200 Hwy 167, Ruston).
- On race day at The Gospel from 7:00 AM to 7:45 AM.
