Harvest Creek Classic

The Harvest Creek Classic is a road running event held at Etowah River Park in Canton, Georgia. Part of the Back to Asphalt Series, the race follows a USATF certified route (GA18105WC). The course consists entirely of a concrete path without any dirt sections, offering a consistent running surface through the park grounds.

The event accommodates a maximum of 300 participants. While the race is open to runners of various experience levels, walkers are also encouraged to participate. Those walking must maintain a pace of 16 minutes per mile or faster to receive an official recorded time. The event takes place regardless of rain or sunshine.

Safety guidelines permit the use of strollers, provided they begin the race at the back of the pack. Participants may use headphones at low volumes to remain aware of their surroundings. However, dogs, skates, and bicycles are not permitted on the course.

Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers. Recognition is also given to top performers in specific categories including masters, grandmasters, and senior grandmasters, as well as the top three finishers in age groups ranging from 9 and under to over 80. Participants receive a tri-blend shirt, though availability is not guaranteed for those who register late or on the morning of the event.
