Event details

The Halifax Movember Run 2025 takes place on November 22, 2025 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The main route is a trail course through Point Pleasant Park. The event includes a 6 km trail run, a Canicross / dog run on the same 6 km course, and a virtual 6 km option. The event is stroller friendly. Prizes are listed for first male and female finishers, best costume, fastest male and female with a dog, and draw prizes. The meeting location is the Shakespeare by the Sea building in the lower parking lot.

Registration, fees and conditions

The event is capped at 100 runners. Listed registration options each carry a fee of $29.26 and the page shows 54 spots remaining for each in-person category. Fundraising proceeds are directed to Movember Canada; the event page lists $1,095 raised (96% of a stated target). Canicross entries will follow local dog-racing temperature guidelines; in temperatures over 10C with high humidity the dog race may be shortened. If the city closes the park for severe weather, the event will move to a virtual format or refunds can be issued and participants will be notified by email that morning.
