Groovy Granite

Groovy Granite is a trail running event held in the scenic Lee River region of Manitoba, on Treaty 1 territory, near the historic AECL Underground Research Laboratory site. The race offers three distance options: 7 km, 14 km, and 21 km, featuring a 7 km loop with technical sections, punchy climbs, and fast-flowing trails along a vast granite batholith. Participants enjoy stunning views of the Lee River, Boreal Forest, and Canadian Shield. The event emphasizes environmental stewardship with a cupless format and well-stocked aid stations.
