Groovy Granite is a trail running event held on October 12, 2025 in the Lee River region of Manitoba on Treaty 1 territory. The course passes near the historic AECL Underground Research Laboratory site and runs along the rim of a large granite batholith with views of the Lee River, Boreal Forest, and Canadian Shield. The event was postponed from June 22, 2025 to October 12, 2025. Registration closes on October 5, 2025. Refunds are not provided after registration; bib transfers were permitted until June 15, 2025.

The route uses a 7 km loop that can be repeated or combined to form longer distances. Trails are described as fast flowing with technical sections and short steep climbs. An aid station is located at the start/finish area and is stocked with water, electrolyte drinks, Sunrype fruit source bars, fruit, chips, and pickles. This is a cupless event - participants must bring their own cup or bottle. Drop bags are accepted for the 14 km and 21 km distances. Spectators are allowed; parking is limited and carpooling is suggested. Pacers are not permitted. St. John Ambulance will provide on-site medical support and participants may be withdrawn for safety reasons.
