Grit & Grace Trail Race
Reidsville, United States • 28 Feb 2026
Event overview
The Grit & Grace Trail Race takes place at Camp GuilRock in Reidsville, North Carolina on Saturday, February 28, 2026. The event offers two formats: a 12-hour trail race and a 6-hour ruck event. An aid station at the start area will be stocked with Tailwind, LMNT and water.
Course and venue
The course is an approximately 3-mile loop that includes grassy trail, gravel road, single track and forest road with gentle rolling terrain and flat sections. Camp GuilRock is a 210-acre camp incorporated in January 1970. Camping is available off course. Check-in and check-out will take place in the indoor pavilion and a firepit will be maintained during the event. Because the event takes place in February, a light source is required or highly encouraged.
Race formats and rules
In the 12-hour race, participants complete as many laps as they can within the 12-hour period. Total mileage is updated after each loop. Each finished lap must be recorded with race staff to count. Competitors may tap out at any time by reporting to staff; tapping out ends the race. Overall awards are given to 1st and 2nd male and female, and finishers receive an award showing distance achieved.
The 6-hour ruck uses a weight-distance scoring system (Kz): lap score equals pack weight in pounds times lap distance in miles. Packs are weighed before the start, after each lap, and when leaving for a new lap; the official lap weight is the lesser weigh-in. Final results sum Kz totals. Overall awards are given to 1st and 2nd male and female and all finishers receive an award with their total Kz. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
