The Triple Lakes Trail Race takes place on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at Bur-Mil Park in Greensboro, North Carolina (5834 Bur Mill Club Rd., Greensboro, NC 27410). The course runs on watershed trails around Lake Brandt, Lake Townsend, and Lake Jeanette. The event offers on-site and virtual options.

Logistics and what is included

Parking is available throughout Bur-Mil Park; volunteers will assist and participants should expect to walk about 0.3 miles to the start area at the back of the park. Regular and economy registrations include a custom race shirt, a finisher medal, chip timing with course splits, live tracking via the RaceJoy app, aid stations, and post-race food and beverages. Shirts are only guaranteed for registrations made more than two weeks before race day. The race is part of the NC Trail Mega Medal Series; medals from series races connect to form a larger medal.

Awards and policies

All finishers receive a custom Triple Lakes race medal. Awards are given to top finishers and age groups; categories include top 3 male and female in each main distance, top relay teams, and standard age groups from 0-19 through 80+. No refunds are issued within 30 days of the event; earlier requests may receive a 50% refund excluding processing fees. Entries cannot be deferred to another year or event. Trail runners will love the Whiskey Tango Foxtrot Half Marathon and 5 Mile at Northeast Park with rugged winter trails and two crossings of the Reedy Fork River. On site and virtual entries plus ruck divisions add flexible challenge.
