Green Monster Trail Challenge : Wellsboro, PA

The Green Monster Trail Challenge is a trail event in the Tioga State Forest north of the PA Grand Canyon near Wellsboro, PA. The course uses rolling single track, steep climbs, numerous stream crossings, and technical descents. The event offers multiple distances with specified total ascent figures.

50K 7800' total ascent
25K 4000' total ascent
15K 1700' total ascent

The event is organized by the Tyoga Running Club. Aid stations are maintained by local clubs and organizations and provide food and drink along the course. Race-day offerings include a post-race meal, music and entertainment, event t-shirts, Darn Tough socks, finisher medals, and periodic swag giveaways.

Field size is limited to 350 participants. Online registration closes on September 27 and there is no day of registration. A wait-list is used on a first-come, first-serve basis once capacity is reached. The organizer notes a no refunds policy.
