Great Ocean Trail Ultra
Apollo Bay, Australia • 24 Oct 2026
Event overview
The Great Ocean Trail Ultra is an oceanside trail race that follows the Great Ocean Walk along Victoria’s Shipwreck Coast. The course runs from Apollo Bay toward the Twelve Apostles and is a point-to-point trail ultra on the west coast of Victoria. In 2025 the finish logistics change because of construction at the Twelve Apostles Visitor Information Centre: runners can still reach the Twelve Apostles if they arrive in daylight, then return to finish at the Princetown Recreation Reserve. Camping is available at Princetown Recreation Reserve.
The event recognises the Eastern Maar People as custodians of the lands and waters the run crosses. The organisers list a conservation partner that works on trail maintenance and environmental activities in the region.
