Great Bay 5K : Race for a Healthy Estuary

The Great Bay 5K is scheduled for October 24, 2026 at Stratham Hill Park in Stratham, New Hampshire. The event marks the 28th running of the race and serves as the final event in the Seacoast Road Race Series. Proceeds support the non-profit Great Bay Stewards, which focuses on conservation, education, community outreach, stewardship, and research of the Great Bay Estuary.

The 5-kilometer course passes the shores of Great Bay and is mostly downhill. Wheelchair racers are welcome; they start before the other runner and walker fields. Motorized wheelchairs are not permitted, and wheelchair participants are responsible for maintaining their own equipment.

Participants in the 5K receive a long-sleeve race shirt if they register by October 1, 2026; those who register later may claim a shirt on race day if any remain. All entrants receive a race bib with tear strips that can be redeemed for a free beer or cider at select establishments. The published registration fee for the 5K is $35.00.
