Grand Canyon Trail Half Marathon

Set in Tusayan, Arizona, near the Grand Canyon South Rim, the Grand Canyon Trail Marathon, Half-Marathon, & 5k Run/Walk is a Run Tucson event with community partners. The weekend features a Half-Marathon, 5k Run/Walk, and a Marathon option added in 2025. The Half is roughly 13.1 miles on a Kaibab National Forest trail loop, with rugged sections and a mix of paved/gravel segments.

The 5k is an out-and-back on paved and dirt roads. Start/finish at the IMAX Visitor Center in Tusayan. Proceeds benefit the Tusayan Fire Department and Grand Canyon Food Pantry; finishers receive a medal, long-sleeve shirt, plus post-race snacks, beer, and an artisan fair.
